I love to draw with ink and am always looking for new ways to sketch outdoors.  I recently saw a video by John Hoar a british painter who uses match sticks and india ink to develop his design prior to adding watercolor.  This is an example I made using his method and a sepia watercolor wash.   He uses a utility knife to create a chisel point on the stick and then dips it into a small bottle of india ink.  The shadow area are indicated using the flat part of the chisel end of the stick.
